At the Business Development Center we believe that small businesses are vital to a thriving community. We are committed to helping entrepreneurs open and operate successful businesses. Our clients, primarily low-income, minority, and women entrepreneurs, benefit from individualized services, including business consulting, entrepreneurial training, and assistance in securing financing. We believe that by strengthening local businesses you create job opportunities and empower families, changing lives one small business at a time.
The Business Development Center is a nonprofit agency, supporting entrepreneurship since 1995.

Local Economic Development Initiative
LEDI is introducing West Contra Costa contractors to the public contracting arena and helping them compete for contracts and subcontracts on local projects. LEDI services include:

3-day intensive public works training, covering essential topics from estimating to bidding
Contractor's Network
connect and partner with other local contractors
LEDI provides contractors access to:
- 27 local public agencies
- $150,000,000 in upcoming local public works projects
- Prime contractors with subcontracting opportunities

INFORMATION
Led by an industry expert, the LEDI Contractors Institute gives small contractors the knowledge and tools to successfully work on public works projects. This program covers Estimating, Certifications, the Bidding Process and other major construction issues.
4 REASONS TO ATTEND:
