Start-up Support: Though launching a new business can be exciting, it can be quite overwhelming at the same time. That is why the BDC helps its clients navigate the logistical complexities of starting a business and ensures that critical business requirements are not omitted. We help budding entrepreneurs obtain permits and licenses relevant to their type of business. We also educate our clients on government codes and regulations that might affect their businesses. To celebrate our client's accomplishments, we help organize a Grand Opening ceremony to propel their venture into the community.

Sales & Marketing: One of the major reasons small businesses fail is their inability to generate and sustain an adequate level of sales. At the BDC, we help our clients identify their target customers and customize a marketing plan to capture them. We help design marketing tools, such as business cards, brochures, and other promotional materials to increase exposure for our small business owners. The BDC works with local lending programs to assist clients in obtaining loans for business start-up or expansion.
